INDONESIAN TUTOR IN SYDNEY
Why choose Indonesian Language Consultancy?
At Indonesian Language Consultancy, we understand that a decision to hire an Indonesian tutor is more than just about finding someone who can speak Indonesian and English.
We believe that you are looking for someone who understands Indonesian very well from English perspective, able to transfer their understanding to you and had spent great amount of time training people from different background.
On top of that, perhaps for you, learning Indonesian is more than just a short term goal - which means you will be meeting your tutor regularly for quite a long time. It would be a much more pleasant experience if you have a tutor who cares about your learning and can relate to you.
Our founder and full-time tutor, Gerry Yuwono, is looking forward to help you learn Indonesian and achieve your goal. Many of our students have been meeting regularly with him for more than two (2) years and they found him to be knowledgeable in language and culture, personable and relatable.

At Indonesian Language Consultancy, we strongly believe that everyone can learn Indonesian. Our aim is to help our students, who might have different learning style and capacity, learn Indonesian and reach their goal. Read more about what we believe here.
With this in mind, we always tailor our lessons to suit the learning style and capacity of our students. We do not generalise our students and we are keen to find different approaches that work for you.
We know that teaching is not a simple task and we believe that a good trainer needs to have a solid teaching method. Read more about our teaching method here.
Language changes throughout time. Words and expressions that were used before might no longer be used. That is why at Indonesian Language Consultancy we put great importance in keeping our materials up-to-date with the changes that are happening with the language. We also review and update our materials regularly, basing it on our experience from meeting different students, to make it even more approachable and relevant to our students.
Finding a place to have the lessons is the number one challenge for people who are looking for a tutor. People might end up meeting their tutor in a cafe or food court. Learning a new language in a public place can be nice. But through our experience, we understand that not everyone can learn in a crowded and busy place.
At Indonesian Language Consultancy, you no longer need to worry about finding a place to meet. We have an office in Sydney CBD with classroom setting (and also with some refreshments from Indonesia). You can meet our tutor there and have your lessons in a place that feels like home.
